* * MONEY CD * *
The first cut on the CD is a parody of Pink Floyd’s Money, which has a famous bass line in it and was a big hit in the 70’s. We kept the same title, but these are the words you always wished it had! Mark’s vocals are superb.
The second cut, The Squanderer, parodies the oldies hit, The Wanderer. Denise, aka Parody Queen, sings this one and the lyrics always get laughs.
The third track, Plastic Surgery, is an original song written by Denise with an acoustic blues flavor. This song talks about the pitfalls of living in a plastic world.
The fourth song, Money, Money Cometh, was written by Stan Pody. We called him up and got the okay to keep his lyrics, but arranged it into a flat out rock ‘n roll song. Bottom line of the song: Money comes for the sake of the gospel, so dance that money in!
So if you’re looking for cutting edge songs, with Biblical principles and a good groove, this CD is for you.
